DEADLINE aka SIDSTE FRIST - (1971)
|
| |
"Deadline" aka "Sidste Friste" is a 1971 Swedish/Danish film Pan acted in and also recorded music for prior to the band's untimely split. The film was written and directed by Swedish filmmaker Stellan Olsson, and produced by Omega/Nordisk Film. Its cast includes: Evabritt Strandberg, Kent-Arne Dahlgren, Stig Torstensson, and Elsebeth Reingaard. The following scans below were taken from a 1971 English 4-page film guide to Deadline. As of 2008, Deadline is still currently unavailable on DVD or VHS, though a possible late 2008/early 2009 release looks promising. From a February 2008 Q & A piece for this site, Henning Verner had this to say about the film: "Actually we acted in this film (as musicians), and I remember one scene where we play music in the film. I also remember one scene where you see Arne playing - very beautifully - solo-cello." - Thanks to Henning Verner and Claus Rasmussen.
